
Join Recovery at Marquette for a spring lunch and learn on recovery research featuring Dr. Noel Vest on Friday, April 25, from 11:30 a.m. to noon in the Wellness + Helfaer Recreation facility’s Swift Conference Suite (room 326).

Vest is an assistant professor at the Boston University School of Public Health. As a formerly incarcerated scholar and a person in long-term recovery, Vest is an advocate for social justice issues and public policy concerning substance use disorder, recovery and prison reentry. He received his Ph.D. in experimental psychology from Washington State University and completed a NIDA T32 postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Pain Medicine at Stanford University.
