Poker Walk to take place Wednesday, May 21; Fit2Be Cancer Free Challenge reminder

The annual Poker Walk will take place on Wednesday, May 21, at noon beginning outside Coughlin Hall near the Employee Wellness Center. In the event of rain, the walk will take place at the same time inside the new Wellness + Helfaer Recreation facility.

The Poker Walk is a Marquette tradition where employees complete a walk around campus and collect playing cards at designated points throughout the path in an effort to make the best poker hand. Prizes will be awarded to the top hands, and all registered participants will be eligible for giveaways.

The event provides employees with a fun way to unwind and engage with colleagues at the conclusion of the spring semester. This year the Poker Walk will again run in tandem with a step challenge that is part of the My Wellness program in which participants can earn additional My Wellness points. More information on that challenge will be communicated in May.

Fit2Be Cancer Free Challenge goes through April 24
