New benefit: Financial wellness services with Francis LLC

Marquette understands that wellness isn’t just physical – it’s financial too. In response to employee interest in more tools and resources to help with financial planning, Human Resources is introducing a new benefit with financial wellness services from Francis LLC.

This benefit connects you with financial planners who educate, advise and coach on any money matter, including defeating debt, making and managing investments, exploring tax strategies, understanding Social Security, transitioning to retirement and more. More information is available online.

They have no investment products to sell, so you can feel confident that you will always receive completely objective advice. This service is offered as an employee benefit, part of Marquette’s Total Rewards, and there are no per session fees, so you can meet with a financial planner as often as you wish. Financial education and advisory services are included in the plan fees or paid for by Marquette.  Watch this video introduction

The Francis team will be on campus every month. Spouses and partners are welcome to join. Connecting with a financial planner for an onsite or virtual session is easy. Here’s how:

  1. Visit francisway.com/marquette and click on “Individual Financial Planning”
  1. Download their free mobile app. Search for Francis LLC on the Google Play or the Apple Store. With the app, you can select a financial planner, begin messaging them and book a virtual appointment.
  1. Call 866-232-6457

TIAA still serves the Retirement Plan, and this additional benefit does not change how the Marquette Retirement Plan is administered or serviced. TIAA will continue to offer onsite and virtual sessions.
