Marquette Shabbat, April 11 

Marquette’s Jewish Student Union is celebrating Shabbat on Friday, April 11. Join at 5:30 p.m. in AMU 163 as Marquette’s Jewish community shares its traditions and practices on campus to create joy.

RSVP online by Friday, April 4. 

Shabbat is the Jewish day of rest, which happens each week from sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday. Jewish people take this as a time of reflection and to spend time with family and friends can be celebrated in many ways. 

The Marquette Jewish Student Union will explain to participants what Shabbat is, the traditions around Shabbat and have a traditional Shabbat dinner.
