The College of Health Sciences will host a Health Occupation Students of America chapter on Thursday, March 6, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Cramer 087 and Cramer Lounge. Join for a brief 45-minute informational meeting for students interested in participating in the Marquette HOSA student organization.
HOSA, also known as Future Health Professionals, is a global student-led organization that promotes career opportunities in the health industry. HOSA has historically served middle and high school students, but is now looking to establish a collegiate branch serving students enrolled within the health professions.
Students who join Marquette’s branch of HOSA will gain experience with mentorship, teaching, community engagement and networking. Marquette HOSA also presents students with opportunities to compete in academic meets, present at local conferences, apply for scholarships and network with other undergraduate students pursuing careers in the health professions.
