The Wisconsin Historical Society’s traveling exhibit “Crossing the Line: The Milwaukee Fair Housing Marches of 1967-1968” will be on display from April 1 through April 16 on the first floor of Marquette Hall.
The exhibit commemorates the 50th anniversary of Milwaukee’s civil rights marches and examines the practices and prejudices that led to segregation in Milwaukee while chronicling the school desegregation and fair housing movements of the 1960s.
The display is offered to the Marquette community for viewing as part of Dr. Christina Bosserman’s Spring 2025 CORE 4929 class.
