From a young age, I was surrounded by a family deeply rooted in both mathematics and mechanics. My parents, both mathematicians, instilled in me a love for problem-solving and analytical thinking. Meanwhile, my grandfather, a dedicated mechanic with a collection of motorcycles, sparked my fascination with engineering by involving me in his bike repairs. This blend of influences growing up led me to pursue a degree in electrical engineering at Marquette University.

Marquette has played a pivotal role in shaping my career aspirations and providing me with valuable experiences. One of the most significant opportunities that the Opus College of Engineering helped me achieve was my co-op at Harley-Davidson. This experience was not only a nod to my grandfather’s legacy but also a transformative experience in my professional journey. Working at Harley-Davidson allowed me to apply the theoretical knowledge I gained at Marquette to real-world challenges. I was involved in projects that required innovative thinking and collaboration, which honed my technical skills and reinforced my passion for engineering.
While working at Harley I had the opportunity to work with their sister company, LiveWire Electric Motorcycles. The work I did with LiveWire solidified my career goal: to contribute to the electric vehicle industry.
I am passionate about applying my skills in electrical engineering to continue to develop sustainable transportation solutions that can help us mitigate environmental challenges. The transition to electric vehicles represents a significant step towards a greener future, and I am eager to be part of this transformative journey.
Marquette University has not only equipped me with the technical expertise required for a successful career in electrical engineering but has also provided me with the opportunities and mentorship needed to discover my true passion. My co-op at Harley-Davidson was a defining experience that has set me on a path towards making a meaningful impact in the electric vehicle industry. I am excited about the future and the role I can play in generating sustainable innovation.
