Marquette Nursing scored a 100% overall pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination among Class of 2024 BSN graduates, per data from the state’s Department of Safety and Professional Services. This is an increase from the 2023 mark of 98.28 percent.
The Direct Entry Master of Nursing program achieved a pass rate of 93.86 percent, marking its second year in a row over 93 percent.
“Our strong NCLEX pass rates reflect this college’s proficiency at producing nurses who are well-prepared for practice,” says Dr. Jill Guttormson, Dean of the College of Nursing. “We are pleased to have graduated more than 300 nurses, who are now treating patients across Wisconsin and the United States.”
The NCLEX is a standardized test taken by nurses in the United States, Canada and Australia. Nurses must pass the NCLEX before they are licensed and allowed to practice.
