Volunteers needed for President Ah Yun’s inauguration, 2025 Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement ceremonies

Volunteers are needed for three events this spring: President Kimo Ah Yun’s inauguration on Tuesday, April 29; the Baccalaureate Mass on Saturday, May 10; and the university’s Commencement ceremonies on either Saturday, May 10, or Sunday, May 11. 

If interested in participating in any or all events, email University Special Events at universityspecialevents@marquette.edu. Include what role and event(s) you’d like to help with and someone from the Special Events Team will follow up with more details. 

President Ah Yun’s inauguration 

Tuesday, April 29, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Al McGuire Center 

Volunteers needed: column Marshals, volunteers, ushers, Eucharistic ministers (fully initiated Catholics) and musicians (vocal and instrumental) 

Baccalaureate Mass 

Saturday, May 10, at the Al McGuire Center at either: 

  • 9 a.m. if Commencement is on May 10  
  • 4 p.m. if Commencement is on May 11 

Volunteers needed: ushers, Eucharistic ministers, and musicians (vocal and instrumental) 

Commencement ceremonies 

At Fiserv Forum. If Commencement is on Saturday, May 10:

  • 1 p.m. — Undergraduate Commencement ceremony 
  • 5 p.m. — Graduate Commencement ceremony at Fiserv Forum  

If Commencement is on Sunday, May 11:

  • 11 a.m. — Undergraduate Commencement ceremony 
  • 3 p.m. — Graduate Commencement ceremony
