The Marquette Literary Review team has opened submissions and is looking for all kinds of writing and multimodal art (poetry, prose, creative nonfiction, photography, paintings/drawings, collages and music). The MLR is open to anyone with current or past affiliations to Marquette, including undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and alumni.
Submissions close Saturday, March 1, and must be submitted via this email.
Submission guidelines:
- Up to three pieces may be submitted per person.
- For multiple written pieces, please submit all as a single word document not to exceed 10,000 total words, separating the pieces with page breaks and clearly defined titles.
- For multiple multimodal pieces, please submit all in a single email.
- Please include information about the piece(s) (title, genre, medium if applicable) in the email.
- Please include a short bio in the email. This can include whatever you like, but we recommend including your affiliation to Marquette (graduation date, major, and/or job title).
Submissions will be responded to between late March and early April.
Please direct any questions about submissions to Kendyl Cunningham or Raegan Gronseth.
