Marquette community invited to 4th annual IWL Gala, April 10

The Institute for Women’s Leadership invites the Marquette community to the fourth annual IWL Gala on Thursday, April 10, in the AMU Monaghan Ballrooms.

Current Marquette students, staff and faculty members should RSVP here. (note: this registration page is for faculty/staff/student use; contact iwl@marquette.edu for info for the broader Milwaukee community).

This event celebrates women who engage, inspire and transform Marquette and Milwaukee communities. It is also a fundraising opportunity to support gender-related research through IWL. Join for an empowering evening, embracing leadership and authenticity while gathering with IWL community members from across campus and beyond.

The keynote panelists attending the gala are:

  • Nancy Hernandez, president of the Hispanic Collaborative
  • Ana Simpson, CEO of Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast
  • Dr. Stacia Thompson, president and CEO of Sherman Phoenix Foundation

Dr. Lezlie Knox, chair and associate professor of history in the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences, will serve as the moderator.

Do you know a transformative Milwaukee community member, Marquette staff/faculty member or a Marquette student leader you would like to be considered for recognition of their work that aligns with IWL’s mission and vision? Click here to nominate them for a Transformational Leadership Award by Friday, Feb. 14.
