Join the Marquette University Law School for a two-part “Get to Know” program on Tuesday, Feb. 18, and Friday, Feb. 28, at 12:15 p.m. in Eckstein Hall. Derek Mosley, director of the Lubar Center, will host two programs to introduce the Wisconsin Supreme Court candidates.

On Feb. 18, Brad Schimel will join to talk about his experience in the legal system, including his service as a Wisconsin circuit court judge in Waukesha County and, previously, as Wisconsin’s attorney general. He began his career as a prosecutor in the Waukesha County district attorney’s office and was elected to three terms as the Waukesha County district attorney.
On Feb. 28, Susan Crawford will visit to discuss her experience, including her current role as a Wisconsin circuit judge in Dane County in 2018. She previously served as an assistant attorney general in the Iowa and Wisconsin Departments of Justice. She has worked as an administrator in the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and as a partner in a law firm focused on civil litigation and regulatory proceedings.
