The Institute for Women’s Leadership and the Women of Marquette ERG will co-host a screening of the documentary “Direct Positive” on Thursday, March 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. in AMU 163.
This screening will also provide registrants the option to attend virtually. The screening is free to attend; registration is required for in-person and virtual attendance. Register here. Light breakfast will be offered.
The Public Relations Society of America – Southeast Wisconsin Chapter is partnering with IWL and Women of Marquette ERG to bring this screening to Marquette. All students, staff and faculty interested in the documentary and related efforts are invited.
The event is an opportunity for attendees to delve into the importance of sharing stories of women leaders to improve communities and workplaces. There will be a panel discussion after the screening of the short film.
Three of the leaders featured in the documentary will form the guest speaker panel:
- Kate Braasch, chief of presidential affairs in the President’s Office, Marquette University
- Maggie Daun, talk show host and general counsel, Civic Media
- Ebony Ssali, creative director, Glyph Global Creative
