Thirty-nine faculty and staff members received the honor of becoming Marquette Ignatian Educators of Distinction during Mission Week.
Marquette’s designation as an Ignatian Educator is a campus and public recognition of a person’s commitment and competence in animating the Jesuit tradition of academic excellence. It demonstrates the dedication of Marquette faculty and staff to the Catholic Jesuit educational mission.
The designation is earned by completing 20 hours of comprehensive education and/or scholarship on Jesuit identity, including pedagogy, spirituality and heritage in one year.
