Black-Brown Get Down, Feb. 26

The next Black-Brown Get Down will be held Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the 707 Hub. These monthly student-led gatherings are designed to build community, cultivate cultural awareness and foster solidarity among students across racial and ethnic boundaries.

Student leaders will facilitate conversations to explore how we can embrace our identities, joys and collective strength. This month will feature food from La Masa.

Students from all racial and ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to participate.

Black-Brown Get Downs are sponsored by the Educational Opportunity Program, the Urban Scholars Program and the Office of Inclusion and Belonging. Each session explores the challenges and joys of being a student of color and the ways we are all connected, in addition to featuring food from local Black- and brown-owned businesses.
