Save the date: Inauguration of President Kimo Ah Yun will be April 29

The inauguration of Dr. Kimo Ah Yun as Marquette University’s 25th president will be held the morning of Tuesday, April 29. The event, which will be held in the Al McGuire Center, will include a Mass and inauguration ceremony. A general reception for the Marquette community will follow.

Undergraduate lecture-based classes will break from meeting between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on April 29. Classes that are partially impacted by the break may meet for the portion of the class that falls outside of the 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. window. Lecture-based classes include the following section types: lecture, discussion, special topics, seminar and capstone. Faculty members with classes during the break are asked to make necessary adjustments to their syllabi.

Graduate and professional courses (including those taught by the Law School and the School of Dentistry), as well as undergraduate labs, clinicals, and field-based classes will be held at their usual times.

More event details will be shared in the coming weeks. Watch Marquette Today for updates or check online
