Join the Lubar Center for Public Policy and Civic Education on Friday, Jan. 17, as it hosts President Kimo Ah Yun as part of its “Get to Know” series. Derek Mosley, director of the Lubar Center, will host the program, which begins at 12:15 p.m.

President Ah Yun was recently named the 25th president of Marquette University, succeeding the late Dr. Michael Lovell. President Ah Yun has been with the university since 2016, serving first as dean of the Diederich College of Communication and then, beginning in 2018, in the provost’s role.
Learn about his background, what brought the California native to Milwaukee, how he is approaching his new position, and what he looks forward to for Marquette and the Milwaukee region.
Mosley envisions the “Get to Know” series as “more late-night talk show than Meet the Press.” The program includes lunch, conversation and community in Eckstein Hall.
