Staff Senate is offering mini grants for staff professional development, providing the opportunity for members of the campus community to pursue training and resources that will enhance their skills and help them contribute to the work of Marquette.
Interested staff members can apply for funding online to support their professional growth. The maximum amount awarded to one individual will be $200.
The deadline to apply is Thursday, Jan. 2.
Possible opportunities include but are not limited to:
- Online webinars
- Classes (outside of Marquette and the tuition remission benefit)
- Courses related to employee’s current role will be given preference to courses proposed for future development
- Registration for conference attendance (Travel, meals and housing would not be covered)
Eligibility
Any regular, full-time or part-time employee who has been employed for at least one year as of July 1 eligible.
Note: These funds cannot be used for professional dues as the focus is on education and development for employees.
