The College of Nursing held an end-of-program celebration ceremony on Friday, Dec. 13 to acknowledge the accomplishments of students in the 10th Direct Entry Master of Nursing Milwaukee cohort.

Clinical faculty member Felisa Antonchorgy gave the faculty speech, while DE MSN graduate Isabella Klotz delivered the student speech.

“The Marquette community of nurses will continue to be your community and a part of your support system,” College of Nursing Dean Dr. Jill Guttormson told the graduates. “But more importantly, we recognize that your education does not end here. I am reminded of a quote from Florence Nightingale, the founder of our profession: ‘Let us never consider ourselves finished, nurses. We must be learning all our lives.’ To me one of the joys of nursing is that you never stop growing and learning.”

The college honored 47 students representing eight states, as well as locations abroad.
