The Arrupe Center and the Food Recovery Network team up annually to put on Move Out for Hunger, a waste-reduction effort to collect food from those who live in campus housing as they prepare to return home for winter break.
Starting Monday, Dec. 6, students are encouraged to donate any unopened, non-perishable items in the bins located in the lobby of each residence hall. There will also be a bin in the Arrupe Center on the first floor of the Alumni Memorial Union for students in apartments and off-campus housing who would like to contribute.
Donations will support the Backpack Program, Marquette’s on-campus student food pantry.
