Training available for nonpartisan Election Day volunteers, Oct. 30 

The Office of University Relations is hosting a nonpartisan Election Day volunteer training on Friday, Oct. 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in AMU 137.   

All students, faculty and staff interested in serving as nonpartisan Election Day volunteers for the November 2024 election must participate in this training.    

The Office of University Relations is seeking 50 Marquette students, faculty and staff to volunteer for a minimum of two hours. OUR is coordinating volunteer voter assistance and support at the AMU polling site, as well as several off-campus polling site locations that serve the Marquette community. Interested Marquette students, faculty and staff will be trained as non-partisan Election Day volunteers to provide assistance to students and community members ahead of the fall election and on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5.   

Non-partisan Election Day volunteers are not poll workers.  

The training is free, but registration for this event is required.  A light lunch will be served at the trainings.
