The Department of Social and Cultural Sciences’ Holstein Colloquium will present the results of a research study to design a possible roadmap for decarbonization focused on Marquette’s campus by transforming its thermal energy system on Friday, Oct. 25, at 3 p.m. in Lalumiere Hall 216.
This work is the product of a collaborative, grant-funded investigation led by faculty in the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences — Dr. David Nowacek, adjunct assistant professor of social and cultural sciences, and Dr. Tim Tharp, associate professor of physics — and will be presented by Nowacek at Friday’s seminar.
The James Holstein Colloquium is a regular series of talks sponsored by the Department of Social and Cultural Sciences.
