Marquette Law School’s Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education, led by Director Derek Mosley, will welcome Evan Goyke, Milwaukee city attorney, on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 12:15 p.m. in Eckstein Hall.
Register online to attend by Monday, Oct. 14.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about Goyke’s priorities as city attorney, how he expects his state-elected-official experience to serve him in his current capacity and what he looks forward to for Milwaukee and the region.
Goyke graduated from Marquette Law School in 2009 and later served as an adjunct faculty member. Goyke was elected Milwaukee city attorney in April 2024. He had served in the Wisconsin State Assembly since 2012, representing the 18th District. He was also a public defender for the state of Wisconsin.
Mosley envisions the “Get to Know” series as “more late-night talk show than ‘Meet the Press.’” The program will begin promptly at 12:15 p.m. and include lunch, conversation and community.
