One of the staff compensation structure project’s key goals was to improve clarity, consistency and transparency of staff compensation practices and policies. The project team consolidated and documented this information in the staff salary administration policy manual, which is now available online.
Human Resources presented supervisor training on the policy manual in the spring. Staff with questions should first contact their supervisor, who serves as the first point of contact for staff compensation inquiries. Supervisors are reminded to consult the policy manual for accurate and up-to-date information on compensation policies and topics. Human Resources business partners are also available to assist with questions.
The Staff Compensation Structure Project aligns with Marquette’s Securing Our Future initiative and is a priority of the strategic plan, Guided by Mission, Inspired to Change.
