Students, faculty and staff are invited to a Mass and a candlelight vigil on Tuesday, Aug. 27, honoring and remembering the life of President Michael R. Lovell.
Mass will be held at 5 p.m. in the Chapel of the Holy Family with prayers and remembrances offered during the Eucharist.
Later that night, a candlelight vigil will take place in the courtyard outside St. Joan of Arc Chapel at 9 p.m. Following the vigil, all are welcome to attend regular Tuesday Night Mass inside St. Joan of Arc Chapel.
The campus community is additionally invited to visit a memorial space next to the AMU Info Desk beginning on Monday, Aug. 26, to write a prayer, inspirational quote, memory or personal thought on a ribbon and affix it to a frame. Prayer cards, buttons and stickers honoring President Lovell are also available in this space.
