Advocacy Services seeking faculty, staff to serve as survivor advocates

Marquette’s Advocacy Services is currently seeking faculty and staff members to serve as trained survivor advocates to assist and support individuals on campus who have experienced sexual violence, harassment, relationship violence or stalking.

Advocacy Services’ 24/7 Advocacy Services network provides vital support, information and response to students, faculty and staff who have experienced sexual misconduct. Expanding the team of survivor advocates is a pivotal step toward enhancing support and care on campus.

On-call advocates will receive specialized training and will be compensated with a stipend for after-hours and weekend on-call response.

For more information or to apply for the position, contact Victim Advocate Estelle Welhouse at estelle.welhouse@marquette.edu. Applications will be accepted through Wednesday, July 31. On-call advocates will start Monday, Aug. 19.
