Six members of the Marquette community will be honored for exemplifying the university’s mission of excellence, faith, leadership and service at the 2024 Excellence in University Service and Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Awards Luncheon on Thursday, May 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the AMU Monaghan Ballrooms.
This year’s honorees are:
Excellence in University Service Award
- Tim Carter, senior graduate admissions counselor in the Graduate School
- Calley Hostad, multi-media manager in the Diederich College of Communication
- Brigid Kinsella-Alba, assistant director of mission engagement in the Office of Mission and Ministry
- Laura MacBride, associate director of the Office of Institutional Research and Analysis
- Jennifer Russell, senior director of marketing in the Office of University Relations
Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Award
Marquette’s Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Award was established to recognize one faculty member and one staff member who demonstrate exemplary leadership and have shown an ability to put the ideals of diversity, equity and inclusion into practical action.
The 2024 Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Staff Award winner is Dr. Michael P. Dante, director of the Faber Center for Ignatian Spirituality.
