The Marquette University Center for Peacemaking will award one grant for a full-time Marquette faculty member to develop a new course, or significantly revise an existing course, that explores and integrates issues of peacemaking and nonviolence. Proposals addressing human rights, community organizing and other methods of/tools for promoting social and political justice are especially welcome.
The value of the Peace Studies Course Development Grant is $2,500. Complete the online form by end of day on Saturday, June 1, to apply. Please note that the application contains a few questions about the course and requires submission of the following items:
- Letter of support from your department chair that includes a commitment to offer the course annually
- Draft syllabus (Note: A single section of a multi-section course is not eligible)
- Updated curriculum vitae
