Marquette Ph.D. students Dr. Yuhan Jiang (Ph.D., August 2020) and Sisi Han (Ph.D., May 2024), alongside Dr. Yong Bai, McShane Chair and professor of civil, constructional and environmental engineering in the Opus College of Engineering, recently received the 2022 Best Paper Award from the ASCE Journal of Architectural Engineering.
Jiang, Han and Bai were honored for “Scan4Façade: Automated As-Is Façade Modeling of Historic High-Rise Buildings Using Drones and AI.” The paper presents an automated as-is façade modeling method for existing and historic high-rise buildings. It was published in the Journal of Architectural Engineering Volume 28, Issue 4.
