Registration open for the Marquette Colleagues’ Program

The Marquette Colleagues’ Program was initiated to develop leaders on Marquette’s campus who embody and integrate the mission of the university in the way they lead and live.

Jesuit higher education involves more than innovative models of teaching or new sequences of academic courses. Jesuit higher education is a vision of life and a way of living that was founded in the spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius.

The exercises are a series of prayer experiences resulting in a worldview in which God is alive and active in the everyday life experiences of people. Ignatian spirituality promotes respect for truth and faith, the need to live a reflective life, and the reverence for the whole of one’s experiences: intellectual, emotional, physical and spiritual.
