Villanova’s Dr. Beth Vallen, professor of marketing and business law, and Dr. Jeremy Kees, the Richard J. and Barbara Naclerio Endowed Chair in Business, will be this year’s keynote speakers. Their talk is entitled “Fighting Infodemics: Warning Labels and Antidotes to Mis- and Disinformation.”
The two professors are co-editors of the Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, which is considered an “A” publication in the marketing field. Both have also been named to the Poets & Quants list of best undergraduate business professors.
The Kellstadt Lecture brings together some of the marketing industry’s brightest thinkers to discuss its most pressing challenges. Previous speakers have included Michelle Morris, the vice president of global marketing solutions at Facebook, and Paul DePodesta, the chief strategy officer for the Cleveland Browns.
