Online graduate programs in computer and information science, nursing ranked in top 40 nationally by U.S. News & World Report 

U.S. News & World Report today released its 2024 Best Online Programs rankings. Two Marquette programs are recognized among the top 40 nationally. 

Marquette’s Master’s in Computer and Information Science program is ranked 18 for 2024, a two-spot rise from last year. The College of Nursing’s online program is ranked 36th; the program was ranked 21st last year. 

The U.S. News & World Report rankings do not utilize standardized tests. The Best Online Master’s in Information Technology Programs rankings graded schools in five categories as part of its methodology: engagement (25%), faculty credentials and training (25%), peer assessment (25%), services and technologies (12.5%), and student excellence (12.5%).

The Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs utilized the same categories with different weights: engagement (30%), faculty credentials and training (20%), peer assessment (20%), services and technologies (20%), and student excellence (10%).
