Marquette University is ranked No. 21 among Fortune’s Best Master’s in Data Science Programs for 2024. This is the first year Marquette has participated in this ranking.
Fortune notes that Marquette’s data science master’s degree program achieved a 100% retention and graduation rate in 2022-23. Marquette is the only ranked program in Wisconsin.
Fortune’s methodology was made up of a combination of selectivity (45%), success (40%) and demand (15%) factors. Before the final ranking was developed, Fortune also discussed the field with two expert panelists, who helped provide context about the in-demand skills and some of the best ways for students to succeed. (Note: these experts were not involved in the actual ranking or judgment of any specific programs.)
