The Institute for Women’s Leadership invites the campus community to the third annual IWL Gala on Thursday, March 7, in the AMU Monaghan Ballrooms. This year’s event celebrates the theme “Unapologetically You! Leading With Your Best Self and Unapologetically Operating in YOUR Power.”
Join the IWL for an empowering evening, embracing leadership and authenticity while gathering with IWL community members from across campus and beyond.
The gala’s keynote speaker is Denise M. Thomas, an award-winning entrepreneur and the founder and owner of The Effective Communication Coach — a consultancy focused on transforming emerging and existing professionals into extraordinary leaders by mastering the art of effective communication. She has been recognized for excellence in leadership from companies including General Electric and Molson Coors. Thomas continues her focus on coaching people by traveling and teaching effective communication to professionals.
This event will explore the importance of leading with your best self. Thomas’ expertise in communication and leadership will inspire us to embrace our uniqueness.
