Those enrolled in one of Marquette’s medical plans who did not select a primary care provider during annual enrollment must select a PCP by Friday, March 1. If no PCP is selected by that date, Marquette’s medical plan provider UMR will automatically select one for you and your dependents by ZIP code and mail a new ID card.
To select a PCP, log in to or create an account at umr.com. Once you elect a PCP, you will receive a new ID card in the mail. Detailed directions are available online.
It is a requirement of Marquette’s new NEXUSACO network to have an identified PCP. You may change your designated PCP any time throughout the year by logging into your UMR account. If you change your PCP during the year, new ID cards will automatically be mailed to you. You can use your current ID card in the interim to see any provider; the account number remains the same.
