Blood Drive in AMU to be held in honor of former nursing professor, March 20

Marquette students are encouraged to donate blood on Wednesday, March 20 in Room 227 of the Alumni Memorial Union. The drive, which benefits the Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin, lasts from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and appointments are encouraged.

This blood drive is a celebration of life for Kit Stevic, former clinical instructor in the College of Nursing, who lost her battle with cancer on Feb. 6, 2021. Stevic joined Marquette in 2014 and had a passion for nursing, instruction and her students. Her impact on the nursing community is vast and lives on through an annual drive.

All attempted donors will receive a $10 e-gift redeemable toward purchases at Target, Starbucks, Amazon and more.
