Volunteers needed for research on long-term health in athletes

The Life After Sport Trajectories (LAST) Lab at Marquette, directed by Dr. Jacob Capin, is investigating how collegiate athletics participation impacts long-term health and activity patterns in athletes, and how traumatic knee injury impacts those outcomes.

The LAST Lab is recruiting both current and former college athletes (age 18-25 and 40-64 years old) and healthy matched controls. Testing consists of assessments of function, strength, body composition and cardiovascular health. By volunteering, you will receive a free, comprehensive health assessment and a $50 gift card.

More information is available on the LAST Lab website. This study is funded by a National Institutes of Health director’s Early Independence Award
