Volunteers are needed for the 2024 Baccalaureate Mass, which will be held at the Al McGuire Center either Friday, May 10, at 3:30 p.m. or Saturday, May 11, at a time to be determined.
Graduating students are invited to serve as a lector/reader, Eucharistic minister, acolyte/altar server, cantor, singer or musician.
All students and alumni, as well as faculty and staff members, are invited to serve as:
- Singers and instrumentalists who will perform alongside the Liturgical Choir and Music Ministry Team. One rehearsal will be held during the week prior to the Mass. A final pre-Mass warmup will take place inside the Al McGuire Center the day of Mass at a time to be determined.
- Ushers to warmly welcome students and their families as they arrive for Mass, offer printed worship aids and help with the flow of communion. After Mass, ushers help tidy their assigned section and elsewhere as needed. Expect a time commitment of 3.5 hours.
Individuals interested in volunteering for the Baccalaureate Mass should contact Rev. Nathaniel Romano, S.J. in Campus Ministry.
