Human Resources’ My Wellness Program, in partnership with the Department of Recreational Sports, is relaunching the Employee Wellness Center in Coughlin Hall (located to the east of Central Mall) on Thursday, Feb. 1. The space was re-purposed for testing during the COVID-19 pandemic and is now being restored with updated features. The Employee Wellness Center is a free, dedicated wellness space exclusive to Marquette faculty and staff.
In order to access this space, you will need to enter the lower level of Coughlin Hall from the outside, south-facing entrance.
The facility is composed of equipment for cardio, agility, flexibility and free weight training, as well as restroom, shower and water-filling facilities. Rec Sports interns will be available for fitness assessments and education on a semiregular schedule.
The space will be open Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.; an MUID is required for swipe access.
Those interested in learning more about the facility are invited to attend the Employee Wellness Center open house on Feb. 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Before using the facility, employees must sign a waiver available in the rec sports member portal. Employees do not need to be a Rec Center member to use the Employee Wellness Center.
Those interested in additional resources through My Wellness are encouraged to visit the My Wellness homepage. Marquette provides resources to help you manage your health, track your activity, support your financial wellness and more. The program also includes free 1:1 confidential coaching resources at no cost.
