The Institute for Women’s Leadership announced its new cohort of faculty fellows for spring 2024. These accomplished individuals bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise and passion to our academic community.
The spring IWL faculty fellows are:
- Dr. Daniel Collette, teaching assistant professor of philosophy in the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences
- Dr. Alexandra (Alie) Kriofske Mainella, assistant professor of counselor education and counseling psychology in the College of Education
- Dr. Sabirat Rubya, Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute Assistant Professor of Computer Science in the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences
The faculty fellows’ gender-related research includes topics related to digital storytelling to support mothers with postpartum depression, the role of convents in the place of feminist history, and mental health in women during the menopause transition.
Together, IWL faculty fellows embark on a journey of academic exploration and growth, united in IWL’s commitment to advancing education and research.
Please note: The IWL is planning to open the application process later in spring for the fall 2024 faculty fellow cohort.
