The Marquette Jesuit Community, the Office of University Relations, Alpha Sigma Nu and the Office of Student Development will co-host the University Christmas tree lighting on Tuesday, Dec. 5, beginning at 5 p.m. in the St. Joan of Arc Chapel courtyard.
Carols will be sung and played by the Marquette band and choir, followed by remarks from President Michael R. Lovell and the blessing of the tree. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served and the first 400 students in attendance will receive a commemorative Christmas ornament.
