The Marquette Core Curriculum, the Division of Student Affairs and the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences will host a film screening and discussion of “1913: Seeds of Conflict” on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 6 p.m. in the AMU Monaghan Ballrooms.
“1913: Seeds of Conflict,” is a one-hour PBS documentary directed by Ben Loeterman. The documentary examines the initial intersection of Arab and Jewish nationalism in the Middle East.
As members of a Jesuit university, we have a responsibility to seek a holistic understanding of the world around us, particularly when events threaten human dignity. Recognizing this responsibility, join the campus community for a screening of a film exploring the early 20th century roots of conflict in the Holy Land followed by table discussions to support the ongoing work of learning together.
No RSVP is required. Refreshments will be provided.
