The Purchasing Department has selected Complete Office of Wisconsin as Marquette’s new preferred supplier for office supplies beginning in December. The MARQetplace system punchout will be active on Monday, Dec. 4, for ease of ordering, and desktop delivery will begin immediately thereafter.
The selection was made after a thorough evaluation of potential suppliers and is based on the belief that COWI’s value and service model will benefit the campus community. In addition to desktop delivery, COWI will have an active on-campus sales presence and will be hiring a student intern to help in this endeavor.
A Complete Office sales representative will be on campus Tuesday, Dec. 12, from 9 a.m. to noon and Thursday, Dec. 14, from noon to 2:30 p.m. for a meet and greet in the AMU, across from the information desk. COWI and purchasing will also be doing campus tours in the coming weeks. Faculty and staff are invited to meet the local representative and learn about their services.
ODP Business Solutions will continue to provide deliveries and invoices for all outstanding orders. Effective Dec. 4, the ODP punchout will be removed from MARQetplace and all office supply orders should be directed to COWI.
As a reminder, Amazon is not the preferred supplier for office supplies and should be used only when alternatives are not available.
