Native American Heritage Dinner, Nov. 12

Marquette Law School’s Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education will host a Native American Heritage Dinner on Sunday, Nov. 12, at The Ivy House (906 S. Barclay St.) in partnership with Wild Bearies, a community nonprofit that strives to bring ancestral foods to communities in a nurturing and nourishing way.

Lubar Center Director Derek Mosley, along with special guests, will explore the rich history of Native American food culture in American cuisine. Come to socialize and learn while enjoying delectable dishes prepared by local chefs. Meet someone, learn something and eat everything. 

Doors open at 5 p.m., with the program beginning at 5:30 p.m. There is a $30 cost to attend. Register online.
