Kate Braasch, chief of presidential affairs, was recently named a board member of the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation. The Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation works to prevent cancer, provide the best care to those fighting it and find a cure. Since opening in 1971, the foundation has raised over $21 million.
Braasch has held several key roles in her 18 years at Marquette, including chief presidential liaison of external engagement, assistant vice president of presidential relations, senior director of advancement relations and director of development.
She has been awarded Milwaukee Business Journal’s 2021 Woman of Influence and currently serves on VISIT Milwaukee’s Board of Directors. Braasch has been previously involved with the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation, serving on the Award of Excellence Committee in 2022 and 2023.
