The College of Health Sciences has announced the opening of the Picture This: A Research & Scholarship Photo Contest submission window.

And what better day to kick it off than today, National Research Day.

“After receiving 44 entries in last year’s inaugural contest, the College of Health Sciences couldn’t be happier to bring the contest back and showcase Marquette’s excellent faculty members, their research and their stunning photographs,” says Dr. William E. Cullinan, dean of the College of Health Sciences. “Today, on National Research Day, I encourage all the university’s researchers to participate in the contest to shine a spotlight on the groundbreaking work occurring on campus.”

Participants can again enter in one of four categories: 1) clinical research, 2) creative representation of scholarship, 3) basic science and 4) research imaging.

Any researcher on campus is welcome to enter. Submissions will be accepted through Nov. 24 and can be entered online.

The winners of each category will be announced in Marquette Today the week of Dec. 4 and have their photos displayed in the Raynor Library.
