Marquette will host a Mass on Friday, Sept. 22, at noon in the St. Joan of Arc Chapel in celebration of Rev. John Naus, S.J., who passed away on this date 10 years ago.
Fr. Naus, a Marquette icon and grandfather to all in the campus community, served the university for over 50 years. Famous for his jolly presence and wide smile – as well as his appearances as Tumbleweed the Clown – Fr. Naus was perhaps best known for the many years he celebrated the 10 a.m. Tuesday Night Mass in the St. Joan of Arc Chapel.
