The Department of Education is working on updates to the 2024-25 FAFSA due to the recently passed FAFSA Simplification Act. These updates will delay the availability of the 2024-25 FAFSA.
The application is set to be available on www.studentaid.gov in December 2023 rather than the typical date of Oct. 1.
