All members of the Marquette community are invited to the annual Mass of the Holy Spirit on Sunday, Aug. 27, at 4:30 p.m. at the Church of the Gesu.
The Mass of the Holy Spirit is an annual liturgy celebrated at nearly every Jesuit school. It dates back nearly 450 years to the opening of the first schools and colleges sponsored by the Society of Jesus.
During this liturgy, all students, faculty, staff, alumni, benefactors, neighbors and family will be blessed during the upcoming year through word and sacrament. We invite the Spirit to pour love upon us ever more abundantly — that we might be affirmed in times of success, comforted in times of stress and always known in love. All are welcome and invited to join.
