The Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service is celebrating NNSpirit Week the week of Aug. 7. The nonprofit newsroom is housed in the Diederich College of Communication and provides professional reporting about Milwaukee’s communities of color. As it celebrates 12 years of service, the newsroom seeks to raise at least $12,000 in honor of this milestone.
As part of NNSpirit Week, the Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service is hosting an “eat-and-greet” on Thursday, Aug. 10, from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. on the first floor of Johnston Hall. RSVP by Monday, Aug. 7, to attend.
